Speaking to ANI, Surinder Singh praised the election process, describing it as smooth and peaceful. 'Everything is good. May everything go well. There is no problem at all. Voting is going on smoothly. I have cast my vote,' he noted.

As Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee seeks a fourth consecutive term, the BJP is striving to expand its influence after securing 77 seats previously. According to the Election Commission of India, the first phase covers 152 constituencies, with 1,478 candidates in the fray. Vote counting is set for May 4.
