France Scraps Airport Transit Visa Rule for Indian Travellers
New Delhi: In a major relief for Indian travellers, the Embassy of France in India has announced that Indian nationals will no longer require an airport transit visa when passing through French airports, effective April 10. Under the new rules, Indian passport holders travelling to a third country can transit through the international zones of airports in France without obtaining an Airport Transit Visa (ATV), provided they do not exit the airport's international transit area during their layover.
