Enrica Lexie owner urges SC for early release of a ₹3 crore bond executed in Kerala HC

Italian vessel Enrica Lexie, from which two Marines opened fire and killed fishermen off the coast of Kerala in 2012, and its Naples-based owner sought an early hearing in the Supreme Court for the release of a ₹3-crore bond and all other undertakings given in connection with the case.

Making an urgent mentioning before Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, senior advocate Sanjay M. Nuli and advocate Anu B., appearing for the ship and its owner M/s Dolphin Tanker, represented by their authorised power of attorney Robert William, urged for a hearing before April 30.
