Following their recent global unveiling, vivo has started teasing the launch of the highly anticipated vivo X300 Ultra and vivo X300 FE in the Indian market. Positioning themselves strongly in the premium segment, both devices heavily emphasize mobile photography, backed by vivo’s ongoing collaboration with ZEISS.
The standout feature of the X300 Ultra is its modularity. The device is confirmed to support external optical accessories, including a dedicated Camera Grip Kit and the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra. As seen in the promotional materials, this extender seamlessly attaches to the main camera housing, pushing the optical reach to a 400mm equivalent for professional-grade zoom.
Arriving alongside the Ultra is the vivo X300 FE. Designed to offer a slightly more accessible flagship experience, the X300 FE opts for a sleek, compact, and flat-body aesthetic. Promotional imagery showcases a distinct vertical pill-shaped camera arrangement on a green chassis.
Notably, the X300 FE is the first device in vivo’s “FE” lineup to support modular optical attachments. It is compatible with its own vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, offering enhanced zoom capabilities (up to a 200mm equivalent) in a highly portable form factor.
Key specifications for the X300 FE include:
The vivo X300 Ultra and the vivo X300 FE will be sold on Amazon.in, in addition to the vivo India online store and offline stores after the launch. The phones are expected to launch in India in May 2026. We should know the exact launch date soon.
