CBFC certification process caused the release postponement
The much-anticipated biographical film Shree Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj, starring Subodh Bhave, has not been released on the previously planned date of April 24, 2026.
The makers have officially announced that the release has been pushed back due to a delay in acquiring the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) accreditation.
The film, directed by Sharad Singh Thakur, tells the story of the legendary saint Neem Karoli Baba, whose life, teachings, and spiritual legacy continue to inspire millions of people worldwide.
Director Sharad Singh Thakur shared the latest development and said, "While we were fully prepared to bring this film to audiences on April 24, the certification process is still underway. Given the nature of the film and the responsibility it carries, we want to ensure everything is in place before release. We are now aiming for a mid-May release and appreciate the patience and support of the audience. This is a film made with deep sincerity, and we want to present it in the right way."
Subodh Bhave portrays Neem Karoli Baba in the film in a tranquil and devout manner, expressing the saint's humility, compassion, and spiritual depth. Neem Karoli Baba continues to be a beloved figure, with following in India and around the world.

The film also features Hiten Tejwani, Samikssha Bhatnagar, Hemant Pandey, Aniruddh Dave, and others. The new release date will be announced soon. The film is expected to be released in theatres by mid-May 2026.
