NHAI fast-tracks alignment identification for 35 km-long Mangaluru Bypass

NHAI has appointed M/S L.N. Malviya Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd. as consultant for preparing a Detailed Project Report for the proposed bypass project

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has appointed a consultant to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) for the proposed 35 km-long Mangaluru Bypass Project.

The DPR consultant is M/S L.N. Malviya Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd. Alignment identification for the proposed project is now under progress, according to Abdulla Javed Azmi, Project Director, Mangaluru office of NHAI.

He said an internal appraisal committee of the NHAI has approved a proposal to construct a six-lane highway, including a flyover of 1.52 km, between KIOCL Junction and Baikampady on the NH 66. The proposal has now been sent to Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for Standing Finance Committee approval.
