In a recent interview, Kritika spoke about Vijay’s approach to acting, noting that he tends to focus more on the requirements of a scene than on individual prominence. “Vijay is a really sharp actor, and someone who plays for the scene and not himself. I think this comes from his training, curiosity and giving nature,” she said. She added that this made the process of working together relatively uncomplicated, as both actors could respond to the material without overplanning their performances.
Vijay, meanwhile, shared his experience of working with Kritika during the show’s promotional interactions. He pointed out that she often introduced small changes in her performance across takes, which meant that scenes rarely played out in exactly the same way. According to him, this required constant attention and adjustment, making the process more reactive than fixed.
