Appeal as rare Indian statues stolen from garden

Police are appealing for information after two rare Indian statues were stolen from a house. The bronze statues were taken from Church Lane, Sutton, near Ely, between 26 and 29 April. They are replicas of statues dating back to the Chola period, a dynasty originating from Southern India, between the ninth and 13th centuries and were handcrafted in Tamil Nadu.…
