2026 Yezdi Scrambler India Launch on April 23, 2026; Know What To Expect | 🚘 LatestLY

Yezdi Motorcycles, a brand under the Classic Legends umbrella, is scheduled to officially launch the updated 2026 Yezdi Scrambler in the Indian market tomorrow. While the company has maintained a level of secrecy regarding the exact technical specifications, a series of social media teasers have confirmed that the motorcycle will receive significant mechanical and aesthetic overhauls. This launch coincides with the introduction of the BSA Scrambler 650, signaling a coordinated push by Classic Legends to strengthen its presence in the burgeoning scrambler segment in India.

The Yezdi Scrambler has remained largely unchanged since its initial release, even as its siblings, the Roadster and Adventure, received substantial updates in 2025. The 2026 iteration is expected to address this gap, bringing the model in line with modern performance standards and rider expectations. By focusing on weight reduction and ergonomic refinements, Yezdi aims to enhance the motorcycle's agility, positioning it as a more competitive alternative to established rivals in the sub-500cc category. The most significant update is expected to be a revised powertrain. While the current model utilises a 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing 29 hp and 29 Nm of torque, teasers suggest a shift toward a larger capacity engine to better compete with 400cc class rivals. Beyond the engine, the 2026 Yezdi Scrambler is anticipated to feature a modified "rider's triangle," offering a more upright and comfortable seating position. Aesthetic changes will likely include a fresh palette of colour options and updated graphics, though the core retro-inspired silhouette is expected to remain a defining characteristic. The outgoing Yezdi Scrambler is currently available at a starting price of INR 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Given the anticipated move to a larger engine and a more premium feature list, including potential upgrades to the digital console and lighting, industry analysts expect the 2026 model to see a price revision. The new pricing is likely to place the motorcycle in direct competition with the Triumph Scrambler 400 X and the Royal Enfield Scram 440. Final pricing and variant details will be officially revealed during the launch event scheduled for April 23.
