Department of Posts and DTDC Sign MoU to Boost Logistics and E-Commerce in India

The Department of Posts (DoP) under the Ministry of Communications has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DTDC Express Limited to strengthen India's logistics and e-commerce delivery network.

The agreement was formalised in New Delhi in the presence of senior officials from both organisations, marking a continued collaboration that began in 2025.

The partnership aims to combine the strengths of DoP's vast postal infrastructure with DTDC's logistics expertise to improve parcel delivery efficiency across the country. DoP operates one of the world's largest postal networks with more than 1.64 lakh post offices, which will now be leveraged to support expanded logistics operations.

The collaboration is expected to significantly enhance last-mile delivery capabilities, especially in rural and remote regions, while supporting India's rapidly growing e-commerce sector.
