Sigma Advanced Systems Secures Rs 3,800 Cr Rolls-Royce Deal – BW Businessworld

Programme-level partnership to supply safety-critical components across India and UK manufacturing network

Sigma Advanced Systems has entered into a seven-year long-term agreement with Rolls-Royce, valued at approximately Rs 3,800 crore (around EUR 300 million), according to a company release.

The agreement reflects an expanded strategic engagement with the aerospace original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and places Sigma Advanced Systems within global engineering programmes.

Under the contract, the company will manufacture and supply a range of high-precision, safety-critical components and assemblies for Rolls-Royce's aerospace programmes. The partnership is structured at a programme level and will be executed through Sigma Advanced Systems' manufacturing facilities across India and the United Kingdom.

"This partnership with Rolls-Royce reflects how our strategy is taking shape. It validates the investments we have made in building a connected India-UK platform and our focus on quality, reliability, and long-term partnerships," Sunil Kumar Kalidindi, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at Sigma Advanced Systems, said in a release on Monday.

"We see this as an opportunity to deepen our role in global aerospace programs while continuing to scale our capabilities across both regions. We sincerely thank Rolls-Royce for the trust it has placed in us by awarding this long-term agreement," he added.

The company stated that the agreement provides multi-year revenue visibility through a long-term order pipeline and supports its participation in long-duration aerospace programmes.

Sigma Advanced Systems, headquartered in Hyderabad, operates in the aerospace and defence manufacturing sector with over three decades of experience. The company has operations in India and the United Kingdom and is expanding its presence in the United States.
