The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has appointed Sanjay Jamuar as the first Chief Executive Officer of its newly formed international subsidiary, Delhi Metro International Limited (DMIL). The move marks a significant step in DMRC's plans to expand its metro-related expertise beyond Delhi and strengthen its global footprint.In an official announcement shared on X, DMRC stated that DMIL has been established with government support to take up metro projects as well as operation and maintenance (O&M) assignments both within India outside Delhi and in international markets. The post read, "Sanjay Jamuar has been appointed as the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Delhi Metro International Limited (DMIL), which has been set up by DMRC with the support of the Government to take up Metro projects as well as Operation and Maintenance (O&M) assignments in India outside Delhi and abroad."
