WCG rink hockey: C Rly women beat W Rly 4-2 in women’s elite league match
Central Railway beat Western Railway 4-2 in a women’s elite league match of the 45th Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana rink hockey tournament recently. H Lalruatfeli netted all four goals for CR while Anupa Barla and Lily Chanu scored for WR.
Meanwhile, Sports Authority of India (SAI) beat Republicans Orange 6-2. PG Dechamma netted a hat-trick, while Kavita (two) and Dintei also scored for SAI. Kashish Shaikh and Manvi Jadhav netted for Republicans. In a men’s seniors tie, Savio Hockey beat India Rush 6-0. Neel Amin (three), Bhavik Chandane (two) and Mittansh Rane scored for Savio.
