During a recent address, Chief Justice Surya Kant stressed the importance of personal diligence and ethical responsibility to newly appointed Advocates-On-Record (AoRs).

Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant on Friday addressed newly inducted advocates and emphasized on personal diligence and ethical responsibility. Welcoming the successful candidates, CJI Kant characterised the achievement as a significant milestone in their professional journeys, reflecting their discipline and hard work. According to the rules framed by the Supreme Court under Article 145 of the Constitution, parties/litigants can file petitions in apex court only through ‘Advocates-On-Record’. (AoRs)
